A Recap of Our Summer Suds Collection Events

Can you believe how fast this summer is flying by? It feels like just yesterday I was labeling the first batch of our Summer Suds collection, and now we’re already preparing for the final events of the season!

We're finally starting to recover inventory levels from the Created For You Artists Market RetroRewind Market at The Shops at Atlas Park. If you were there, you already know this wasn’t just your average weekend market. It was a full-blown celebration of all things 80’s and 90’s, complete with throwback tunes, talented small business owners, and, for a while, giant gray storm clouds. I'm thrilled to have seen so many friends and neighbors over the weekend; it made the days fly by.

Go check out CFYAM's insta and watch their reels for the vendors. They did a great job getting the word out and supporting their vendors all weekend. You'll see a super awkward me try to be normal on camera and talk about our brand 😂😂. If you know me, you know I'm not a big social media person. I feel this 2000 Xanga style blog is a pretty clear sign of that. 😂

Our Neighborhood and New Products

I love being in our neighborhood because we always get to introduce new things to the people who tell it like it is. I stocked up on our Lemongrass Dish Soap Set, and I'm glad I did! Everyone who smelled it was hooked instantly. The Lemongrass essential oils are bright and slightly earthy, with great grease-cutting power. Both my kids are learning to wash their own dishes, and I can tell you, even with them overusing it, this soap lasts a while!

Whipped Tallow Body Butter

I also brought our new whipped tallow Body Butter. It was 85º all weekend and HUMID, but I wasn't going to be afraid! Whipped to perfection with Grass Fed Beef Tallow, Shea Butter, Calendula-infused Sweet Almond Oil, and Jojoba Oil, this body butter will leave your skin super soft without any greasiness. It held up nicely in the heat with no melting!

Calming Milk Bath for Relaxation

For those in search of relaxation, the new Calming Milk Bath was a total hit. I've been using this on my kids forever, especially when they're having an eczema outbreak. It's the perfect blend of Colloidal Oats, Goat Milk, Epsom Salt, and Baking Soda. Whether you use it in the bath or as a soothing paste, your skin will thank you.

The Star of the Weekend: Rainbow Sherbet

But the real star of the weekend? Rainbow. Sherbet. Everything. This scent stole the show and then some. We completely sold out of the Rainbow Sherbet Body Butter by Saturday afternoon, and by Sunday morning, we had sold out of the Rainbow Sherbet Soap Bars too! I think folks were hypnotized by the vibrant swirls of color in the bars and, of course, the nostalgic childhood scent notes; I know I am!

Upcoming Events and Halloween Preparations

We’ll be popping up again in just two weeks (!), on August 16th, from 10 AM - 6 PM at Astoria Park for the G.R.A.C.E Wellness Market. We’d love to see you there! It’s your chance to grab the last of our Summer Suds collection before we shift gears into spooky season. (Yes, believe it or not, Halloween prep is already in full swing behind the scenes!)
