I love local Middle Village events and today we had an great one at the Trinity Lutheran Autumn Market! We could not have gotten a nicer morning for the walk over, I'm almost fully decided that my cart, storage boxes and totes are the final ones and fit most things I need for an event. That is until I see another vendor with "The Perfect Bin"
This was a super organized event, who else loves an organizer with a site map?! I was so excited to find I was placed next to my friend Angie from Bodega Daze! Angie specializes in unique and beautiful custom jewelry and is the only vendor I've met with more inventory to set up than me!
It's always nice to see so many friends, neighbors and return customers when we're in our own backyard. We sampled amazing homemade jams with our dear friends at MAGU, talked crochet with Celtic Witch and danced to the live band Audiopilot while the kids went from table to table, determined to buy every beautiful thing in the market.
I talked the scourge of so many plastic bottles and detergents with my neighbors and continued the hunt for a local potter to make custom dish soap bowls for our Dish Soap Sets.
It was a fulfilling day, I'm so grateful for the conversations with everyone that came out to support the community!
Next weekend we are popping up in the neighborhood all weekend for two local events!
Saturday October 4 at PS/IS 128! The PTA has a bunch of fun activities planned for the kids and over 20 local small business sharing their products on the festival grounds. Come sit in the Giant Red Chair with your whole family or see me at the Fall Photo Op with Harold the Scarecrow!
Sunday October 5th we will continue the Fall Festival theme over at St. Stan's with other local small business, craft vendors and delicious food! It's sure to be a fun filled weekend! We hope to see everyone there! Let us know you're coming by Registering Now and I'll bring you a free sample of soap!
